While it has a friendly side, make no mistake - Big Ballard is brewed for diehard IPA fans. Big Ballard pairs well with sausage, cured meats with ground mustard, spicy Mexican or Asian dishes, and barbeque . Available in the Western US year round in both 22 ounce bottles and on draught.

ChainGangGuy (5514) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JAN 2, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, yellow-orange body with an inch of lightly yellowed froth. Light lacing. Smell: Citrus rind, florals and resiny herbs with a bit of spiced apricot and tropical fruit - a proper, prudent hop blend. Pale malted barley with tones of toasted grain and toasted loaf bread and a couple small dots of blonde caramel. Taste: Pale maltiness with some toastiness and toasted grains hints. Brushing of caramelized, honeyish sweetness. Citrusy, earthy hops with some floral, fruity, herbal elements. Moderately bitter. Fruity, leaning towards citrus on the bitterish finish with a hint of the alcohol. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Decent. No, really!
