BeerVegard (1124) - NORWAY - MAR 13, 2020UPDATED: MAR 13, 2020 0.35l bottle. Pours cloudy gold with off-white head. Aroma of citrus, fruit, hint of citrus zest. Taste is citrus, tropical fruit, a little watery, some stone fruit and citrus peel. Slightly weak, should be stronger at 6.2%.
Beese (12774) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2019Keg at The Elgin Arms, Ladbroke Grove. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of caramel, muted pine and grapefruit pith. Flavour more malt forward and caramelly, but the resinous bitter hops come out eventually. Better fresh, but many years since I had this in Seattle.
MaltyVonHop (905) - - NOV 1, 2019UPDATED: NOV 1, 2019 Redhook Long Hammer IPA 6.2%. Golden amber, pine and caramel malt aroma, medium bodied, caramel malt, toffee, citrusy, orange, zesty finish. Pleasant West Coast IPA from Seattle 🇺🇸
jasonbenali (397) - Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2019UPDATED: AUG 9, 2019 Pours a clear amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is pine, marmalade, apricot and grapefruit. Taste has a little sweetness and then a long bitter tangy but thin finish that is probably its best feature. Nice malt backbone.
Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Was expecting more body and aroma given the ABV.
alexsdad06 (16451) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 6, 2019UPDATED: AUG 7, 2019 This is a backlog rating from 2012 from a bottle, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time. Words to describe this beer are pale malts, earthy, dank, floral, dry, soft finish.
rja (867) - BREDA, NETHERLANDS - JUL 21, 2019UPDATED: JUL 21, 2019 Not a typical westcoast IPA. The beer looks gorgeous golden with a fluffy white head. The taste is of a strong lager with hops on steroids. malty with a touch of caramel and apricot with stron resinous and slightly citrus hop tastes.
Moolesen (1099) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2019UPDATED: JUL 20, 2019 Bottle 12 fl oz. clear golden with a fine white head. Catty aroma, not nice. Pils taste and again with this catty thing. Not my beer.
