UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 Appearance: Pours a dim bronze body with a touch of haziness. Slim, bubby, near-white cap. Smell: Nectarine, pineapple, gooseberry and citrus with a sliver of fresh herb. Lightly barley, biscuit with a hint of implied sweetness. Taste: Sweetish barley with a hint of candied biscuit, wheat. Its initial sweetness hits a little ramp as flavors of pineapple, stonefruit and lemon are incoming. Relatively light bitterness. Fruity, sweetish finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: So-so.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2021 Golden hazy pour, decent off white head. Nose is light tropical fruit. Middle shows some restrained pineapple, citrus, light kilned malt, nibble of pine. Finish leans to the fruit.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2021 Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is honey malt and some pine hops. Flavor is about the same some sweet honey malt and a bit of pine hop. Dull and lifeless.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2021 stovepipe can from Plaid Pantry Wallace RD West Salem OR. $2.45 Pours a hazy peach flesh coloured body with a lovely thick and frothy white head. Aromas are fruity hop but not over the top. Peach, nectarine and plum. Flavours the same as aroma but somewhat balanced by a good malt backbone. Nice well carbonated mouth feel. Semi dry finish. Good. Overall a very good Bum IPA.. hazy but not really a NEIPA.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2021 Beers of Cheer holiday gift pack. The aroma is well balanced with lots of biscuit malt, citrus, and pine hops. The appearance is hazy gold with a medium head and lace. The taste is like the aroma with a solid bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall very well balanced IPA. Nice.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2021 Hazy bright yellow color poured with a solid one finger white head. Tropical citrus aroma. The taste follows the nose. Bitter orange, grapefruit and some resinous pine. Moderately bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2021 Can from Seattle Beer Company. Pours fairly hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is citrus and maybe peach. Flavor is citrus, light malt, maybe peach, maybe passion fruit. There’s a prickly/tingle suggesting passion fruit. Finishes cereal/malty with a little uncertain hop. Dry. Bitter. Prickly.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2021 Can. Doesn't look at all hazy to me. I'm starting to think breweries are just putting 'hazy' on things because they think it's more popular. Not with me. I tend to avoid hazy things. Anyway ... this is quite clear, deep gold, almost peach-colored. There's a nice firm head. There's not much of an aroma, just smells like beer. This has a funky fruity character to it. Blood orange, some overripe melon. (#8058, 9/2021)
