UPDATED: JAN 7, 2022 (bottle 0,33l from Beershop.cz online shop) Overall: Tasty, good. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, sweet, licorice, some spicy. Appearance: Black. Minimal brown head. Taste: Medium sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, spicy. Palate: Medium body. Light sticky texture. Light bitter, astringent finish.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2022 Jet black colour. A couple of dark brown bubbles on the top. Aroma is ground coffee and dark rum. Taste is strong coffee, vanilla bean, and charcoal.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2021 Fles 33cl bij de brouwerij in Nova Gorica. Koffie, roasted malts, bittertonen, zoeten, espresso, chocoladetonen, wat rood fruit, licht kers, suikers, laurier, zoethout, redelijk droog. (15-9-2021).

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2020 Black beer, filmy head. Toasty malt, aniseed and a little hop in the smell. Taste is actually more like you'd expect from a hoppy porter or a strong black IPA, with some hops and a touch of zestiness along with chocolate and malt. Has the rich, smoothness of an imperial porter though so it's an interesting mix.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2020 bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma cappuccino quasi inesistente, colore nero impenetrabile, al naso cacao caffè caramello vaniglia e legno bagnato, in bocca è cremosa liquorosa caffè caramello cioccolato fondente frutta secca, corpo medio, l'alcool è un po' sbilanciato e si sente troppo, carbonazione piatta, oily, amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. UPDATED: MAR 13, 2020 Jet black with no head and a little sediment. Coffee, chocolate and treacle notes but all quite mild. Good but the alcohol masks some flavours unfortunately.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2020 33cl bottle: BB Dec 2021. Poured into a thistle shaped glass at home on 28th Feb 2020. Jet black body, wisp then no head at all. Harsh coffee taste with a heavy alcohol bite, bitter dark chocolate aroma; malty and strong throughout. Pity about the head and it's harshness.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2020 Bottle. Black pour, with nothing else, hmm... Some coffee, heavy malts. Alcohol pretty prevalent. Oily mouthfeel, a touch of sweetness in the finish, but the alcohol washes it all out pretty good. Maybe I'm missing something, but this didn't work for me.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2020 Bottle, from Beer52. Jet black, deep coffee beige but very short lived head and minimal condition. Muted aromas of coffee, treacle and liquorice in the nose, with some background woody oxidation notes. Thick and oily in the mouth with some sweet coffee and a little chocolate powder, some liquorice and treacle and a brief woodiness, finish is sweet, turning earthy and bitter with time.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2020 Frothy tan head on a rich dark brown still body. Chocolate & cocoa aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with a clean back. Lactose, heavy malt, dark berry, demerara, cocoa & dark chocolate tastes. Banging!
