Brewed once a year, this beer is a strong one! A silky stout aged in bourbon barrels. Notes of roast, dried fruit, chocolate, vanilla, oak and bourbon balance this warming brew.

coasternut (649) - VANCOUVER, Washington, USA - DEC 21, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2021 The pour has basically no head and an almost black color. The aroma is mostly alcohol with notes of coffee and chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium considering how strong this Stout is. It has a nice sweetness to it which makes it a nice winter warmer.
Earlier Rating: 11/10/2021 Total Score: 4.2
Pours a dark brown with almost no head, this 2021 version said 14% ABV. Nice bourbon aroma with notes of chocolate, vanilla, oak and cherries. Nice medium bodied stout, not overly heavy. Sweet taste, almost too sweet, but a nice balance.

Old school storlek större. Riktigt gott.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2020 Bottle, MMXIX (2019). Dark brown pour with a mocha head. Bourbon nose. Oh shit, this is one thin ass boozy bomb. Man, if you get past the insanity of the booze heat, you, well hell, you get some barrel. Swimming way in the back there is some caramels and dark roasted malts. Oof, I guess you could say the mouthfeel is abrasive and the body is thin.

Black colour. Lean and elegant, with strong bourbon character and strong alcohol, cocoa, touch of marzipan. Warming.
