UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Bottled 330ml. -from local Eurospin. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, light chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, caramel, nutty, light chocolate and touch of wood with bitterish roasty finish. Not bad for the price.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2020 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into English pint tulip glass. Appearance: Black colour, small head, looks “heavy”. Aroma: Roasted malt, milk chocolate. Palate: Full body, oily and creamy; sharp carbonation with small bubbles. Taste: Roasted malt, milk chocolate, hint of caramel and coffee, hint of dark fruits. Overall impression: Quite good, drinkable and tasty enough but also nothing remarkable. Cool bottle-label.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2019 Stout presa all'eurospin, versa due dita di schiuma che svaniscono velocemente. Aroma leggerissimo di malto tostato. In bocca emergono note leggere di tostato e caffè, alcol poco invadente. Il più grande difetto di questa birra è un leggero sapore metallico che si percepisce specialmente a inizio bevuta. Qualità/prezzo ok.

A dark brown beer in Guiness style, low carbonisation important foam not bad at all

Bottled 0,33L. Dark brown/black color, modest bubbly and creamy clear nut head of short duration. Very inconsistent and pale scent, poor blurry roasty aroma, simple braced corn, watery aroma. Very washed and inconsistent taste, moderate bitterish palate, poor alcohol and gaut body. Simple roasty and very soft coffee final.

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, no head. No lacing either. Nose is roasted malts and caramel. Slightly woody. Seems more like a dark lager, not really a stout. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Prickly and agressive. Light and watery texture. Expected something a bit less watery for 7.5% ABV. Roasty bittersweet taste with alcohol metallic notes. Aroma of roasted malts and caramel, subtle latte in the background. Boozy aftertaste, drying mouthfeel. A bit of burn on the tongue, both acidic and boozy. Overall, well, not much of a stout. More like a strong dark lager, and mediocre at that. I guess it's passable for 0.99€ price tag but still not something I'd buy again. Oh well.

Brown deep intense color, bordeaux reflex. Head is beige, foamy, fine, creamy, medium lasting. Aroma of licorice, caramel, roasted malt, alcool. Medium body, low carbonation. On palate dried fruit, chocolate, licorice, caramel coffee. Finish slightly bitter, dry.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene catturato dall'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è un timido profumo e la continuità olfattiva è appena percepibile. Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è medio. L'intensità gustativa è normale. La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sono di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità,. In bocca l'aroma porta note di miele, cereali, cioccolato,caffè, liquirizia e frutta secca.

Dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma malt, roasted malt, metal. Taste roasted malt, brown sugar, dark fruit, light finish bitterness. Body light to medium. It's not the best stout I tried, but concerning the price is quite ok.

Pours pitch black, topped with thin beige head that is gone in seconds. Gentler malty nose with chocolate and mild roastiness. Herbal bitterness is strong and very sharp. Slight maltiness but overpowered by herbs. Terrible taste. Nicer aftertaste with a bit of chocolate. Lighter body.
