UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 12oz can(s) from the local grocer. Can date of 3 1/2 months ago. Unclear copper orange pour with a beige head. Aroma has stone fruits, citrus, light sweet malts, and dry hopping. Taste is of tangy stone fruits, citrus, tangerine, and light sweet malts, with dry hop evidence. Medium bodied or a bit more. Sticky, strongly hoppy, and well blended between bitter and sweet. Nice, slightly older school IPA. 14.2

Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. superspak (9600) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - JUN 30, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2019 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/22/2019. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, black tea, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, black tea, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, black tea, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome single hop IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Awesome Idaho 7 showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean balancing bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and awesome style example as expected. The hero series is consistently impressive.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2019 Deep golden copper hue with a very sticky ivory head. Lovely aroma that’s fully semisweet malty and honey biscuity with lots of sweet tropic fruity resins. Big flavor that’s full and pale and grassy bitter with lots of pine and bits of tree fruit.
