UPDATED: JAN 5, 2022 Draft to mini-snifter at The Pint Room. Pours a lightly translucent darker amberish caramel with lighter caramel head. Smells of a pleasant balance of Maris Otter malt, hops, oak, and vanilla. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced, and more vanilla-forward. Mouthfeel is medium full-bodied, fairly bitter, and mildly warming. Pretty good, but smells better than it tastes.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2021 backlog - Hazy brown pour, caramel malt, oak, mild hops. It's sweet but not too sweet. Full bodied. Very good.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2019 Draft to taster in a flight at BC's. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have dark fruits, caramel, brown sugar, mild hops, light barrel character, good barleywine.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2019 Draught at Lexington Whole Foods. A brown muddy like color with caramel and toffee and brown sugar. Nice.
