UPDATED: JUL 31, 2020 10oz pour is a clear gold, hardly any head.  Nose has light fruit, like berry, malt, candy.  Flavor has berry, corn, perfume.  Finishes off dry.  Weird.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2019 Malty aroma. Creamy, clean mouthfeel with good earthy hop burst mid-taste. Reveals more fruit and other subtleties with each sip. Very good quality control; nothing is out of place or overdone here. Definitely a recommended take on the style.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2019 16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 11/27/2018. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, pepper, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malts and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, pepper, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, wood, pepper, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malts and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Light lingering resins through the glass. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a delicious German pils. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malts and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome clean pils malt showcase, with perfectly balanced noble hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2019 16 oz can from Belmont Station. Almost clear golden pour with a rather thick fluffy head that eventually subsides to a thin skin. Full bready, grainy aroma. Taste is more of the Fine Malt backbone with just a kiss of Hops at the back, giving it the perfect bitter finish. This is very close to the German style, one of the most authentic since I've been back stateside. Really hits the spot.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2019 Pour is a clear goldne with a large white head. Aroma is clear pale malts and a grassy hop. Flavor is some nice dry, biscuit malt with some green oily hops resin left on the tongue. Pretty good easy drinking, almost chuggable pils.

From the 16 oz can that was packaged 06/26/18. The appearance is bright straw yellow with a generous white frothy head that fades and laces. Great clarity. The aroma is immediately of white toasted bread crust, biscuit, sweetness, herbal, and grassy. Clean overall. Smooth but effervescent near-medium body. The taste is sweet right away with a lingering and mildly dry bitterness to finish it. It carries all of the qualities I like in a Pilsener.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear bright shiny golden color. White pepper aroma. Dusty peppery taste. Clean finish nice
