Power tasting at Ryan's, bottle
Hazy to cloudy pale yellow colour. Funky aroma, some honey, spicy. Good body, not too dry, it as a sharp spicy character, both from the yeast and from the buckwheat, sweet orange, candied orange, and buckwheat honey.
A lot going on here, pretty good.

beerplace (6389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 750ml (thx, Alex M.!) @ Ryan's with Andrey and a gang. Appearance: a bit hazy blonde with a white head (much hazier when all the stuff from the bottom got into the beer). Aroma: lots of farmhouse notes and bugs. Taste: lots of fermented honey with lots of buckwheat, not sure I like the latter though as it's a bit over the top IMHO. Overall: not bad.

mcberko (34280) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2022 750mL bottle, pours a hazy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out fermented out honey and wheaty notes. Flavour is similar, with fermented out honey and rustic saison yeast. Gentle honey-like sweetness on the finish that mixes well with the saison yeast. Well-done.
