COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light Brigade is a 4.1% ABV golden beer created by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson with Robinsons Brewery. Made using Chinook and Golding hops it packs a punch with its hoppy and fruity flavour and a citrus, grapefruit kick. The beer is well balanced to give a rounded, long lasting after-palate. 5p from the sale price of each bottle will be contributed to Help for Heroes Trading Limited which Gift Aids all its taxable profits to Help for Heroes (Registered Charity Number 1120920) For more information visit www.helpforheroes.org.uk

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2021 Clear rich golden with a thick foamy white head. Nose has some interesting minty leafy hop tones and a little kiss of caramel malt. Crisp bright body that has some bread toast and gentle toffee with touches of earthy minty English hop bitterness.

hrabren (5491) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 31, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2021 0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with Jolly Rogers. Clear golden, small off-white head. Herbs, leaves, earth, cardboard, perfumy. Dry and hoppy flavour, also malty. Herbal and earthy hops, leaves. Light bitterness. Light body, moderate to high carbonation, light finish. A bit light and empty, resulting in a higher and sharper bitter profile.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2021 500ml bottle. Pours a mild gold with small amounts of white head. Soft hops on the nose with hints of lighter malts and no heat. Light to medium body with light yeast esters and hints of fruits A light and refreshing beer which is easily enjoyed.

George999 (690) - Colorado, USA - DEC 26, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2020 Aroma: Light aroma with fruit and yeast, quickly fades to a dank almost blue cheese, as that passes it settles to a low malt aroma that is lightly sweet. Also noting a little salt water in the background. The hops crisp the aroma with as touch of mellon. Appearance: Pale Golden yellow in color with a clear body and a bright white head resting atop the beer. Texture is tiny mixed with small bubbles scattered throughout. Lacing is moderate and retention is strong. Flavor: Malt forward with a bitter dank finish initially. The flavors settle but still a bit watery with a touch of rye bread flavor and lightly toasted. The hops are not strong but provide a moderate bitterness that lingers for an amount of time that is a bit distracting. Balance is malty, aftertaste is bitter but still a bit dank. Also noting a bit a grass. And finish is moderately dry. Mouthfeel: Thin body with medium to high carbonation, low alcohol warmth almost makes you think spice. Is not creamy and minor astringency from the bittering hops. Overall: Is a light ale but is a bit dank and not my favorite flavors. Does not feel complex nor very clean in the finish. The beer is drinkable but not my favorite.

midovark (4274) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 24, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2020 Bottle at home, koszi Tomi! Pours clear golden with quickly disappearing white head. Nose is peppery, herbal notes, light esters too. Taste is surprisingly bitter (well, considering), showing herbal hoppy notes, but also there’s a hint of malts in there. Long lasting bitter and dry finish, light body. Perhaps a but dumb, but not that bad actually.
