UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 Super pink coloured body with a ruby glow and a nice clear-ish, but slightly hazy tint that has a nice, but subdued two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades very quickly, like soda and leaves nothing up top. Aroma of cherries, tart fruits, a light dose of citrus fruits, a lot of wheat and fresh, clean-smelling herbal notes with a hint of brine, but the cherries dominate in the nose here. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong cherry and lime flavours up front with a good bit of malt for support and to make this rich enough for a chillier day, with a lot of brine here that makes the tart notes stand out even more, but provides some relief from the sugars and pure sourness. Aftertaste is crisp, clean, soda-like to some degree, but very easy-drinking, slightly puckering and begging for another sip. Overall, a very nice, incredibly balanced, but flavourful beer that has a great bite of limes and cherries with a crisp wheatie and slightly yeastie flavour that does have enough brine and body to carry through just the soured flavours. Very well executed and this one would be great in summertime, but instead, I had it as day #22 of my Advent Calendar for 2021, sampled at my house here in Washington on 23-December-2021 with my family.
