UPDATED: JAN 3, 2021 Fast gone off-white head; virtually black beer. Cold coffee, slightly sweetened, hint at coffeecream, oats, Ersatz chocolate, chocolate coffee. Immediate hint at stoutacidity, much roast/burnt, coffee, coffeebeans, I Haagse Hopjes /I. Finish is a tad ashy. Feels rather well-bodied, gristslick, but finish is more watery. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, coffee, sweet malt, cocoa, light wood - woody. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, coffee, sweet chocolate, light lactose - coffee with milk - coffee with cream. A very dark brown sparkling beer with a small beige head ; light to medium retention. Roast, black chocolate+, coffee+, nice red berries notes (raspberry), caramel note. Medium DRY refreshing bitter, light to medium round sweet. Good body, average thin oily texture, average to soft gaseous, fruity round coffee dryr refreshing finish. Overall, great ! Deliicous !

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2019 Picking up this bottle, at the bootlegger, at Paris. Trying and enjoying this bottle step by step, for the birthday of my son, at home, Epalinges. For me this beer is powerful like the powerful and black body that you could observe. You get an average carbonation thin white and brown foam. It is a powerful oatmeal stout, subtle and aromatic aromas. The coffee is present and smooth, perfect roasted malt, dry side due to the oat, dark chocolate and generous hop, a beer with terroir and personality.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 28.06.19. Dark brown. Small brown head. Fine aroma and taste of roasted barley, good coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla - balanced by medium pine bitterness. Good!

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 Shared 500 ml bottle. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and chocolate. Smooth and slightly sweet flavour, coffee and chocolate but not too much, roast malts but not bitter, very moderate hops. Pleasant to drink.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 Shared bottle at Joffen. Pours dark as coke with a tiny tan head. Aroma of dark malts, weak smoke and coffee. Taste is smooth dark malty, weak bitter dry harsh malty, coffee and tar.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 Endelig RBHD-samling igjen, og denne gangen ombord på Fridtjofen. 0,5 flaske (bb. 300419) fra mitt snart ikke-eksisterende beholdning fra Ninkasira: brunsort med ok skum. Kakao, sjokoladekake, 70%-sjokolade, moccabønner, dessertkaffe, mørke malter og lactose. Mild bitterhet og høy drikkbarhet.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2019 Aromat słodko-palony, kawa jest i mleczna czekolada dodatkowo. Wygląda bardzo solidnie, piana może niezxbyt duża, ale lacing duży. W smaku znów balans między palonością, kawą i słodszymi nutami, słodycz raczej w tle, chociaż z czasen na podniebieniu może za słodko i męczy. Ogólnie i tak naprawdę dobry, ciekawy stout.
