Bomber. Dark copper with thick creamy head. Lasting head given the booziness... cool. Sweet caramel and slightly bready. Mouthfeel is chewy and quitw a bit of residual sweetness yet finishes somehow dry. Mellow booze. Good barleyvino.

oh my. i’ve made this statement quite a bit while enjoying this. perfect barleywine dusty prune like aroma. i can drink this for days. i can anticipate people bitching about oxidation, but for fucks sake barley wines should have this note. it adds to the depth, makes it so amazingly well rounded, curves that sweetness, and calms the hops. raisin, plum, vinous in the right ways. hint of cinnamon and just amazingly drinkable. i would not kick the shit out of a homeless man for this, and i hate homeless people. it may be that i have been drinking for 30 hours, but this is why i am a drunk. brews like this are why i keep self medicating. fuck it. i’m gonna get high, drink this beer, order a pizza and watch some baseball.
