Yeah....I still love Rogue, but it's starting to get a little pricey with all that is out there. A solid beer though nonetheless. Sort of in between a pale ale and IPA. Less hopped than the top IPAs, but it's there in the finish with quality flavor. Caramel malty, medium citrus, tasting other sweetness almost like honey....but good bitterness to it too. Kind of like the brutal bitter, but lighter and not as bitter. If I saw this in 6-packs for a reasonable price I'd probably buy again, but for $6.50 a 22 oz. it's more like a "been there done that" deal. Am I really the first to review this?

650ml bottle Hazy dank brown with sudsy head. Slight hop action in the aroma - the malt dominates. Medium bitterness with malty palate and vague hop action. For an IPA I expected more. Average.

Dark Amber color, not much foam. Slightly bitter taste, with some malt and caramel. Very nice middle of the road ale, I would not call it an IPA.

Great reddish brown appearance w/ small amount of foamy head. Smell of floral notes, malt, with a touch of hops. Quite bitter, pretty strong on the hops, some citrus, not very complex.

Bottle, 650ml. A cloudy brown beer with a lot of sediments and a small brown head. Aroma is of dried fruits. Taste is bitter with a strange aftertaste that reminds me of malt, spices and dirt. Medium bodied with considerable carbonation and astringency. Very unusual IPA with none of the traditional hoppy character.
