AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 billb (245) - Acworth, Georgia, USA - FEB 26, 2001Another Rogue treat! A complex stout with bitter and sweet flavors. The chocolate was very apparent, but not overwhelming. The bitterness lingers a long time after finishing. The chocolate and malty flavors compliment each other nicely. Note, this is a heavy brew. I split a 22oz with a friend and I was too full to have anymore beer (and this was my first one). So be sure to drink this on a weeknight when you're just going to have one. Enjoy!

Aroma subdued of dark chocolate, dark sweet dried fruits and dark treacle. Taste is moderately sweet vanilla, dark chocolate, dark treacle/molasses, roasted coffee; slight earthy mouthfeel.
