labeerinthum (5897) - Milano, ITALY - JUL 8, 2021UPDATED: JUL 8, 2021 Bottiglia.
marcodelrio1610 (48) - Torino, ITALY - JUN 7, 2021UPDATED: JUN 7, 2021 Pours amber, fine retentive dirty white head over quiet texture. Malty, floral and bread notes on top with a hint of yeast and nuts. First sip is soft and sweet with toffee and caramel notes over a malty bed. Halfway down it echoes with figs, hazelnuts and cereals. Goes down easy in a medium carbonation. Finish is clean and sweet but in the aftertaste lies a little herbaceous bitterness.

pt_beerguy (52) - - APR 17, 2021UPDATED: APR 17, 2021 I'm a trappist nut, but these types of ales come in as a close second. Classified as a maibock, I find it really pushing the style's limits. It pours out a rich amber color and has a picturesque white head. It really looks perfect in tge glass. For fullmaltys like me, the smell must match those of the pearly gates. Ample caramel malts, toffee and a hint of bitter hops tantalize you. The first sip also doesn't disappoint. A bit sweet, but very supple and full bodied with molasses, toffee, and honey flavors throughout. It's balanced with mild hoppy bitterness, creating almost a boozy cherry finish. And this beer is BOOZY. I really enjoyed this ale! I was stunned to see some of my untapped mates didn't like it much, but hey...more for me! I loved this dead guy ale a skele-TON.
DraftPupil66 (429) - - APR 14, 2021UPDATED: APR 14, 2021 355ml can from local store, imported. Pours clear reddish orange/amber with nice frothy white head, not long lasting. Aroma of malt, caramel and quite herbal hops. Taste is sweet and malty, really pleasant with a nice small touch of bitter, fruity hops at the end. Love how it is sweet at first and balances with the more biting, grassy hops in the finish. Low to medium carbonation. Malt, caramel, dark fruits, nuts, toffee with nice herbal hops. Medium body and slightly oily texture. Good 6.8% abv and slightly bitter in the end but really extremely easy to drink and for everyone, i'm really enjoying this. Very nice and so enjoyable.
vinaugvic (175) - - APR 5, 2021UPDATED: APR 5, 2021 Hazy amber with a good slightly off white head.
Aroma: Both malt (bread, honey, nuts) and fruity hops (orange, passion fruit).
Mouth: Great mix of malty sweetness and hoppy astringency. Quite bitter lingering finish. Medium body, low/medium carbonation.
Grumpelmies (963) - GERMANY - MAR 14, 2021UPDATED: MAR 14, 2021 Can. Clear dark orange/amber feat. a really lovely white head. Aroma of honey and malts. Taste of malts, caramel, honey, toffee with a small herbal touch. Slightly sweet and oily. Moderate bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Pretty boozy. Would pair well with a Scotch I suppose. Rather different than the German Maibocks I’m used to.
Not really sure what to make of this but it’s nice though.
