COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly Chatoe Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale. The newest addition to the Chatoe Rogue series is Pumpkin Patch Ale, a beer made using fresh pumpkins grown in a patch that borders Rogue’s 42 acre hop yard. The pumpkins are picked, loaded into Rogue’s farm truck, driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, quickly roasted, and pitched into the brew kettle to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.

coasternut (649) - VANCOUVER, Washington, USA - AUG 16, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2020 This is not too bad an ale, my wife likes it more than I do. It is not too heavy on the spices so as to taste like a pumpkin pie, but has a pumpkin/squash flavor with the tartness of the hops to make an interesting flavor.

DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2020 Copenhagen 28/7-2020. 75 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Total orange bottle with a drawing of a bunch of pumpkins. Pours unclear dark amber with a big off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a herbal sweet odor. Cooked vegetables, pumpkin soup and black pepper. Hints of cinnamon and ginger. Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet. Lingers for a while. I found it remotely interesting tasting a pumpkin based beer. For some reason Rogue has turned this one into a cornucopia of Christmas spices.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2020 Big bottle shared at the Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Dark brownish amber, small tan head. Lots of spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted pumpkin. Toasty, caramely, dry finish. Moderate carbonation, light finish. A bit thin.

natejgood (703) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - OCT 2, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2019 Pours clear medium brown with a medium head. Looks like a yummy fall beer. Aroma of malt and pumpkin spice. Flavor is slightly sweet with some body. Pumpkin flavor is noticeable but not overpowering. Fairly light in the mouth but still has substance and is smooth and has a satisfying flavor for an autumn beer. I might like a bit more nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and pumpkin pie spice but overall this beer is a good pumpkin beer.
