In Season One, Agent Scully is not thrilled about her new position babysitting this crazy conspiracy theorist in the basement, and she’s a bit bitter about it. Agent Scully is our farmhouse inspired IPA. We brew her with organic unmalted Sonoran white wheat and a whole sack of oats per batch. We whirlpool and dry hop Agent Scully with a copious amount of Amarillo and Simcoe hops. Lastly, we gently haze her up with ginger marmalade for that final touch. She’s a lot of work to brew, but she’s worth the effort.
The hops in this beer will vary from batch to batch (or season to season), and we used Amarillo and Simcoe hops for this "Season One" batch.
Draft at brewery. Labelled as Season 1, Episode 6. Orange copper with thick slow fading head and lots of lacing. Nose is major orange citrus, some pine, slightly earthy. Taste is dry and bitter with flavors of citrus pith, honey. Quite good.
Tap. Slight haze. Orange marmalade color. The smell is jelly, fruit, orange, mango, and good. The taste is dry, light bitterness, hops, fruit, and ginger in the finish.
