COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our favorite styles, this ale is a hop explosion. Light in color, heavily hopped in the kettle as well as conditioned with several unique hop varieties. This creates a beautiful floral/citrusy nose which is balanced well by a smooth and full finish.

Carlisle (1406) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 10, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy orange-gold with white head and lacing. Grapefruit, apricot, and floral aromas. Grapefruit and citrus followed by spiciness and some caramel notes. Long, dry, hoppy finish.

12 oz single bottle from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits - Council Bluffs (Madison Ave). Hazy, unfiltered, golden to orange colored appearance with a white head, light lacing and some chunky sediment. Aroma of musty hops, resin, pine and light grains. Similar flavor adding moderate bitterness and light sweetness. Medium body. Tastes old.

Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 9, 2016
12oz bottle poured yellow very cabonated which was surprising since there was very little head, no lacing to speak of, citrus aroma with a very hop forward taste.

Bottle. Orange caramel malt and orange peel aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet orange, pineapple, caramel malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Decent body.

MaltOne (592) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Pours slightly hazy, light copper, modest lacing. More aromatic than most... stone fruit (apricot/peach) and biscuit. Flavor follows the aroma, with yeast addition, and a peppery, resin finish. Palate has subtle smooth body. Overall, this had a lot subtle notes going on. The yeast and body remind me of a farmhouse ale, as do some of the subtle flavor notes. Its not a typical IPA, but its s very good beer. (Note: this bottle may be slightly passed its optimum consumption date.)

hfmejias (1283) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2015
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured slightly hazy, golden, small off white head, and some lacing. Aroma of caramel, citrus fruit and pine notes. Taste is bitter and hoppy, some fruit notes and some malty hints in the background. Nice and easy to drink; very enjoyable.

I am in no "rush" to get to this "river" of squalid inpertinence. It is not like like snuffing a bowl of cat piss...but not really that different. Luckily it has alcohol, which is a plus. The taste is a minus.

justsayswell (293) - Kansas City, Kansas, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Cloudy brass pour. Nose is crackers and citrus. Medium mouthfeel. Grapefruit predominant. Some peach. A little sweet. Creamy. Nice fresh bread malt backbone. Crisp carbonation. Finishes a bit sweet with a hint of resin. Good IPA
