The Prohibition Act of 1917 put an end to alcohol consumption in British Columbia for 4 years, and quite frankly was a real big downer. Thanks to the efforts of the newly formed BCLS,in 1921 the act was repealed and BC was declared a “wet” province once again. This Pre-Prohibition Pilsner is brewed to style using ingredients commonly used during that time period including flaked corn and rice. Cheers and Congratulations to the BCLS on there 100 year anniversary!

Crystal clear gold with decent foam which leaves soapy lacing behind. Rich malty sweet aroma, full bodied and raspy carbonation. Sweet malty freshly threshed grain with crisp bitter herbal hops.
A good example of the style.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2021 Good bleach white foam on a clear light pale straw body. Sweet macro hop aroma, soft grain, plenty of sugar. Flavour is sweet cardboard, vague hops, more sugar. Smooth with lingering sweetness. A cut above an average macro pilsner but nothing too exciting.
