UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 Bottle. Amber-Brown pour that is translucent. Head is off white and quickly fades to a fine film. Aroma is big and bold with soured cherries, grapes and some funky garbage pail brett. The taste is sour cherries, woodiness and a zinfandel winey character. The palate is light and oily with prickly carbonation. Finishes long with linger tart oaked fruits. overall: Top Shelf stuff. Very complex. Paired well with a artisanal gouda cheese.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2021 Slightly hazy light brown with a white head. Aroma is cherries, funky, woody and musty. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter and medium sour.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2021 On tap at brewpub. Amber orange pour. Small creamy beige head. Aroma of sour fruit, dried fruit, barnyard yeastiness and oak. Intense flavors are complex and layers. Notes of red wine, cherries and oak. Simply amazing.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2020 Tart oaky aroma, heavy wine, slight funk.Dark red/brown color, cream head, very pretty. Big oak flavors, sour finish, lively effervescent palate. Strong entry, so good that it is making me like this style more.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2020 13/6/2020. Bottle courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma is woody, musty, grape, berry, cherry and brett. Light to moderate sweetness, medium tartness. Medium body, with slight creamy texture, and average carbonation. More late developing sour cherry tartness. Nice tart finish.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2020 Bottle from Hi-Time is Costa Mesa. Pours a hazy reddish-brown with a fine carbonation and a beige head. Rich aroma of malt and cherry. The taste has a wonderfully complex, with tart notes, and flavours of sweet malts, white wine, sour cherries and dried plums. Some farmyard funk as well. Delicious, rich mouthfeel and long aftertaste. An exceptional beer.
