COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zywiec Porter, pronounced "je-vi-ets", is a dark, strong beer brewed according to the traditional recipe from 1881, with the Munich malt and special malts for caramel and color plus the highest quality aromatic hops. Everything together creates a unique combination of taste. Production of this Porter was moved to Bracki Bowar in 2004 .

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2021 Old Untappd checkin, December 5, 2015. Brown glass bottle. Rich malt and coffee aroma. Bold flavor, notes of coffee, bitter chocolate, with a warming finish. Appropriately thick mouthfeel. An excellent macro porter.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2021 Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, chocolate, light roast, light coffee. Taste is the same, chocolate, bitter, coffee, long bitter chocolate aftertaste. Very nice

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2021 Bought this beer for my wife as she is the one that likes the dark beers. Had a couple sips. This is a Porter I could drink. It has a nice malt body that is slightly bitter chocolate with not coffee taste (not a fan of coffee). You notice a little sweetness in the middle with a smooth finish. Great dark beer.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2021 Thick and chewy with a bit of anise on the flavor... ending with a bit of metallic. Nose is sweet and metallic. Overall sweet notes light anise. Imported into united states. purchased in local polish grocery store in Chicago.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2021 Ocena wystawiona na podstawie wspomnień z degustacji celem uzupełnienia profilu. Fajnie, że warzą portera, jest bardzo poprawny, choć złożoności aromatu czy smaku tu się raczej wielkiej nie znajdzie. Na plus, że nie jest tandetnie słodkie.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2021 Zaskoczyło mnie to piwo. Piłem je wielokrotnie, ale po raz pierwszy odczułem przyjemność z picia. Dobry, wytrawny porter bałtycki. W smaku dominuje kawa. Nieprzesadzona palona goryczka. Do powtórzenia.
