Finhead (2278) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 26, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 Slightly hazy, golden pour with a white head. The aroma has fresh grain and pine notes. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter.

johnnnniee (6326) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 18, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2021 Bottle from Shaw's Lightly hazy dark straw in color with a decent sized frothy white head that dissipates quickly. Bready sweet maltiness with a hint of earth and diacetyl. Meh

2.3
cheap (7939) - Land of Taxes, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 24, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2021 Bottle with a light green label, nearly at room temp. Taste is fairly mellow, and not much haze on the eye, considering the name. Taste is a little more brisk than yer typical lager and yes, more like a zwicky or a keller fer sher. However, it comes across with a little less of that sharper bitterness than a keller, maybe its the landbier thing. So, alpine is the highest and most extensive mountain range system that lies entirely in Europe? Just asking or, is this alpine californika? Either way its not a bad beer. Reminds me of the traditional culture of farming, cheese-making, and woodworking although; there are shades or tourism in it. Decent beer tasting experience, a little better than expected. Should have listened to the sales girl, I thought it would have a lot more bitter astringent hops in it than it does.

troopie (4502) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - MAY 11, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2021 Hazy gold with thin white head. Citrus and flower aroma. A bit of citrus among the malt with a crisp finish. Medium body.

GMCC2181 (1695) - Elkton, Maryland, USA - APR 22, 2021
UPDATED: APR 22, 2021 Bottle picked up at State Line. Drank straight from the bottle, so I cant properly talk about the color/head. Taste is a little citrus, flowers, malty sweetness in the after taste. Body is light, easily crushed. Overall: Just what I was expecting an easy drinking beer

2.9
LowBrau (230) - Tonawanda, New York, USA - APR 11, 2021
UPDATED: APR 11, 2021 A little hazy, medium gold with a little bit of a reddish tint, medium white head. Nose is faint. Malty and citrusy and a hint of mustiness. Balanced taste, but a little more sweet than sour or bitter. Medium body, a little chewy. Pretty good beer, though the name 'Alpine Lager' had me expecting something more crisp and dry. Sounds dumb, but I think I'd enjoy it more if it was called something else.

chinhaez (155) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - APR 11, 2021
UPDATED: APR 11, 2021 Bottle. pours a lightly hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma is soft and understated and does not provide much foreshadowing of the taste to come. I get some straw, corn and vague fruits on the nose. The taste is a well balanced mix of bready grains, some citrusy hops and a bit of salty herbs. The palate is light but effective. Finishes short and clean. Overall: decent.

nick76 (4540) - Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2021
UPDATED: APR 9, 2021 The aroma isn't very robust and belies the rather robust malty and hoppy nature of the taste. It has a bit of that resin and soapy hop that is common in European beers. The appearance is hazy gold with a large foamy head. The taste is powerful malt very bread like with a light bitterness. The palate is smooth. Overall a really good beer. Winner.

3.5
poisoneddwarf (4653) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - APR 5, 2021
UPDATED: APR 5, 2021 12 oz from a six pack. Aroma is chalky, lemony, lightly grassy, bready. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone white head with good retention. Taste is moderately sweet with a lightly bitter edge. A little too sweet for me.

2.8
PorterPounder (10071) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 28, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2021 3/27/21 - Fayetteville, Ar. - Liquor World - 12 oz bottle. Medium gold pour, slight off- white head. Aroma of muscadine grapes. Slightly sweet flavor, some of that same muscadine grape essence, some nuttiness, otherwise pretty uneventful. Decently textured mouthfeel.
