UPDATED: JAN 3, 2022 Aroma is floral/slightly spicy hops and Sam Adams lager yeast. The flavor is similar to the aroma with a slightly nutty/toffee finish.

Drake (18900) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 28, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 12 ounce bottle from Festival Northland, 12/20/21. Clear amber, large frothy off-white head good retention. Aroma of floral hop, stone fruit, pale malt. Taste is pale malt, green herbal hop. Crisp. Basically a pale lager but fairly well done.

Nekronos (4654) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 28, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 Quite fine but it was a common lager without much in it to make anything special. Scarce foam and enjoyable.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2021 My least favorite of Sam Adams beers. It's bland, unremarkable, & forgettable. Frankly it's closer to an American pale lager or pilsner, although marketed as a pale ale. I'm an enthusiast of German beers, not many American beers, though some good American beers are to be had, and Sam Adams does a good job. This one however reminds me more of a slightly more tasteful version of Miller High Life - maybe appropriate for an American game day beer where Bud is still king. The 'Game Day' pack has 2 bland beers along w/ Boston Lager & an incredibly good 'Cold Snap' out of the Belgium white ale mold which is far better than Blue Moon.

Finhead (2278) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 26, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 Clear, pale gold with a small, white head. The aroma has cereal grain notes. It has a light body with average carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter and dry.

Obfuscate (1285) - Minneapolis, - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 It said to watch football and drink this beer. Perfect for that, light, crisp, easy, hint of fruit, maybe pear? Nice

johnnnniee (6326) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 18, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2021 Bottle from Shaw's Pours a brilliant light gold color with a thin bubbly white head that quickly recedes. Crisp crackery malt with a touch of caramel and a light earthy floral hop to balance. Decent.
