FACambridge (1122) - Chelmsford, Essex, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2020UPDATED: APR 17, 2020 (from old notes) - Aroma : Medium toasted sweet caramel malt, bags of grapefruit and tangerine citrus hoppiness with a light grassy note. Taste : Only moderately bitter with a dry citrus bite that is lighter than strong aroma would suggest. Decent West Coast style IPA though
beer3000 (90) - - JAN 17, 2020UPDATED: JAN 17, 2020 Drinking after a productive week in Houston. Not a perfect ipa but I also like it.
maltyhead (62) - - DEC 29, 2019UPDATED: DEC 29, 2019 Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. It poured a honey color with a 3/4” head and had a subtle hoppy aroma. Taste was very good with typical bitter-hoppy we expect from a mass marketed beer. This beer is very drinkable and would purchase again.
caribou43 (2456) - Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 28, 2019UPDATED: NOV 28, 2019 Not so rebel, if I compare others ipa that I have drunk, during my life, this one that I have found in the coop, at Prélaz is classical, copper/brown body, a bit troubled, average carbonation, thin and white foam. Decently bitter, dry malt, notes of pine-tree, hoppy, a bit sweet and watery, not great, not bad. I have tasted this beer, at september 2018, at Prélaz, Lausanne.
Myonlyvice (767) - DENMARK - OCT 26, 2019UPDATED: OCT 26, 2019 Clear light amber with a soapy white head. Some lacing. Aroma. Weak straw, bread and cirtus aroma. Taste Mostly bitter and a bit metallic. Light mouthfeel
PhillyCraft (11988) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2019UPDATED: JUN 6, 2019 Bottle, copper color with average to full head. Notes are watery and lacking: bland hops, faint grapefruit, light metal, ash, and wooden board. Light mouthfeel.
Jabah (2479) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - APR 5, 2019UPDATED: APR 5, 2019 Been curious about this for a while, but couldn't bring myself to buying a 12-pack, or was more afraid of the results. My buddy from GA brought some camping so I got to sample a couple of his. Actually a little better than I expected, based on what I heard. Decent representation of the West-Coast style, but has that near-macro feel still. Smoothish feel with flavor leaning slightly towards hops than malt. For the price it's worth it, but I'd still spend a couple bucks more and get something more 'craft'.
