Aggie80 (923) - Michigan, USA - JAN 30, 2021UPDATED: JAN 30, 2021 Surprised by the fruitiness, an undertone of lemon in this one. No real hop flavor coming through that one would expect from an ale.
Beese (12774) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2020UPDATED: FEB 13, 2020 Keg at The Samuel Adams Brewery, Boston on 18/03/2008. A very nice American wheat, with smooth body and just a hint of spiciness.
wetherel (3694) - Cupertino, California, USA - APR 14, 2019UPDATED: APR 14, 2019 Bottle from Whole Foods in Cupertino. Amber color. Nice wheat beer. Medium body. Lightly sweet. No classic Hefeweizen yeast aroma, more like a 1056 yeast. Still pretty good. No bitterness.
Jabah (2479) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - APR 2, 2018I didn't care too much for this as a Wit. Just like their Hef, it did seemed "Americanized".....a little watery and lacking flavor. I always said that all Sammy Adams has a certain similar taste.....can't quite pinpoint it. I don't notice it as much in their Brewmaster Collections, which is probably why I prefer them more to the regular Sammys. UPDATED 12/7/10- I am getting more and more into Sammys, and this is one that I have to upgrade. Hoppier than last remembered, and the balance is working quite well.
dnstone (5952) - Saarland, GERMANY - MAR 19, 2018Pours a hazed golden-white with white head. Spiced Belgian yeast aroma. Classic SA malt backbone, super thick with a spiced edge.
Notes: on tap since college.
BeerRenter76 (1097) - Texas, USA - MAR 15, 2016Originally rated on 5/19/08. An average white, it pours a hazy orange body with a thin white head.decent balance, slight tastes of hops, coriander and cloves. decent finish
Patrickctenchi (7259) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JAN 24, 2016Tall Can: (w/ Nitro Widget)........I just really enjoy saying nitro widget...ahem....on to the rate...
Cloudy, yellow-gold with a creamy white head.
Orange and wheat aroma.
Flavour is mild, and a bit flat...maybe due to the creaminess of the nitro....orange and wheat malts...
Creamy, malty, but lacking in zest or bite.....pleasant enough, but nothing more.
downender (10656) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2015On tap at a bar in Leesburg, VA. Hazy gold with a decent, white, head. Orange peel and coriander, some yeasty grains and a gentle finish. Ok.

yngwie (20302) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2015On tap at the brewery tour, as Nitro Wit. It’s a hazy, pale golden beer with a dense white head. The aroma is of the fruity kind, with some banana and spiced notes. It’s medium bodied, quite carbonated and dry. Banana, lemon, spices and pale malts in the flavor, some bitterness. Lasting finish. A decent beer indeed, but rather standard. 150608
