UPDATED: MAR 9, 2021 Cerveza de color marrón caramelo con una cabeza de color canela y esponjosa no muy densa. Aroma a malta tostado, caramelo y frutos secos. Sabor a malta tostada, caramelo, nueces y algunos sabores afrutados. Hay una cuantía media de amargor en el paladar que perdura después de cada sorbo. Esta cerveza tiene un buen nivel de carbonatación con una sacudida en boca fresca. En general, esta es una buena cerveza con unas esencias y sabores que la hacen bastante fácil de beber.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2021 500ml bottle delivered by the Blue Boar, Leicester and drunk at home. Light brown, cmear with a quuckly dissipating off-white head. Light malty aroma, some woddy notes, chestnut. Sweet nutty taste turns slightly bitter on the finish. A bit of woody tang in the aftertaste. Slightly watery body with carbonation on the heavy side. A step above your average British bitter, nothing vey terribly special but a nice drink all the same.

Resvisión realizada según la Guía BJCP 2015 para el estilo British Brown Ale (13B). -Aroma: bajo a malta tostada, bizcocho, caramelo, toffee; muy bajo a nuez, casi inapreciable. 5/12 -Apariencia: color marron claro, rubí al trasluz. Claridad brillante. Espuma blanquecina, fina pero persistente. 3/3 -Sabor: bajo dulzor a malta, bajo amargor. Balance maltoso con final ligeramente amargo y seco. 13/20 -SB: cuerpo ligero, carbonatación baja. Sin cremosidad. 3/5 -IG: Una Brown Ale que se ajusta al estilo pero sin destacar en ningún atributo. Se echa de menos algo más de cuerpo que podría conseguirse aumentando la temperatura de macerado. 6/10 TOTAL: 30-MUY BUENA

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2021 Pours clear amber with white head. Moderate retention and good carbonation. Browned malty aroma. Strong cherry/concord grape taste. Even mouthfeel with a dry, bitter finish. Overall not a lot going on besides the grape thing; makes me wonder if it's out of code, but they didn't date the bottles.

Odrobinę przypomina koźlaka. Bobrze nasycone. Puszyste i kremowe. Delikatna goryczka nie przeszkadza w delektowaniu się słodowością. Oprócz orzechowych są i nuty chlebowe. Delikatnie słodkie. Odrobina wodnistości sprawia że piwo jest bardzo pijalne.
