I’ve always been a fan of these "Latin Lagers". This one is good, but actually tastes more like Miller than it does Corona.

Pours light gold with a fizzy/foamy white head. Grassy hop nose. Light body and lots of fizz in the mouthfeel Flavor is very mils and lightly bitter. Sort of like flavored water with some alcohol.

12oz bottle from Cost Plus/World Market in Beers of the World box. Pours light gold with a fizzy/foamy white head. Rather clean aroma of light grass. Foamy carb renders body near med. Flavor is clean, no skunk, but not a lot of anything. Very lightly bready; very, very lightly bitter. At 3.9 drink it instead of water. Nothing bad here. Nothing super wonderful. Just a drink to slug down as fast as possible - or not at all.

Tasted on 1/28/11 from a 12oz bottle purchased from Cost Plus as part of the Beers of the World box. Pours clear golden with an average white head that recedes to spotty lace. The nose is somewhat skunky with sweet corn and a bit of hay and grass. The flavor is lightly skunky, again with a bit of bread, grass, hay, and sweet corn. The body is light with average carbonation and a short skunky finish.

Pale South American lager. I found it to be better than Corona. Very light malt, and a nice faint flowery, herbal scent underneath. Say what you want but this is many times better than Coors Light crap which is just alcohol water. This is at least more like beer and it tastes good on hot summer days. Also, it’s very affordable. $9.99 for 12 bottles which is unheard of for imported beer. You may disagree with my rating but I don’t care.

This score may be inflated. I drank this very cold on a very hot day. I believe that was a wise decision. Literally no aroma. Flavor is that of a cheap lager similar to a Coors Light.

Bottle (clear) 355ml
Aroma clear bottle – expected oxidation is present, beyond that wet grainy hints. Vegetable broth. Very poor.
Appearance decent appearance, light gold with fresh plus sized head. Fragmental lace shown.
Flavor and Palate : Mid light bodied. Plenty of overcooked vegetable character here, cardboard with touch of melted margarine. Faulty beyond saving.

12oz bottle- Skunky aroma, pours a foamy piss color yellow. A cheap beer that you can enjoy if you are low on cash

12-oz from Albertson’s. Pours crystal clear pale gold from a cystal clear bottle. I get that these bottles look kinda cool, especially if you’re working the whole beach in the tropics thing in your branding, but, gah. What it does to the beer is so not worth it. The skunk waves its tail in the air as soon as you crack the top of this one. Blecch. Some sourness in there as well, a mild grainy sourness like wet stuff in the silo maybe. Fizzy, watery body. Corn and skunk mid-palate. Mild aluminum finish. Whadda treat.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked FL-L10-BABFA1. The pour is an almost clear pale yellow with a shortlived puffy foam and little lacing on the glass. The aroma is an unappealing skunky and grassy scent, which made me hesitant about taking the first sip. The mouthfeel is thin and unexciting. The third impression was the charm as the taste was a delightful mix of sweet malts and a tad of hops. Hold your nose and drink it I guess. The experience will not last long. This beer went down like water. I’ll add the lime on the next round.
