UPDATED: DEC 2, 2021 Clear bright copper body, thick, pillowy cream head with curtains of lacing. Nose caramely and nutty with dark fruit. It's dry as advertised- the first sip was surprising, given the heavier, sweeter aroma. The caramely, nutty notes are retained, but the emphasis is on baked bread and grassy, almost metallic hops. The creamy, soft mouthfeel plays off this bitterness. A damned nice lager.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2021 Can pour, amber color. Roasted corn aroma. Very dry up front and a little to dry for this style for me. Notes of whole grain bread, honey and hints of brown bread.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2021 On tap at Beer Karma, Brooklyn. Clear orange with medium white head. Malty, grainy, some caramel, quite clean. Toasted. Light to medium bodied

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2021 On tap at the Flight Center Manchester. Deep gold in color with a thin wispy white head that slowly recedes. Rich bready crackery lightly toasty maltiness. Floral earthy spicy hops counter nicely.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2021 Can from Alphabet City Beer Co.: pours amber with dense head. Aroma is caramel, light earth and biscuits. Taste is lightly sweet, restrained bitterness. Good.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2021 Can, thanks to Vin! Pours crystal clear amber, large fluffy off white head, nice lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, toast, hints of dust, grass. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium light body. Pretty crushable.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2020 Can at in-laws. Reddish colored and large beige head. Nose is toffee and dark fruits. Tastes of malt, bready, caramel, figs, berry. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2020 Can shared with Patrick, bought at CBC in Waterbury. Reddish color with average head. Some nice bread, dark fruit, light caramel, plum, and biscuits. Solid example of the style and clean.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2020 From a 16 oz can dated 08/24/20. Medium amber pour with modest off-white head. Vibrant caramel and toffee malt nose and a hint of floral hops. Light to medium body. Same sweet malt taste ending mildly dry and clean.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2020 16 oz can from The Beer Store. Poured into my Schilling glass. Pours amber/burnt orange with a 2 finger beige head. Good lace. Nutty, cereal aroma, Honey Nut Cheerios. Light sweetness on the flavor. Light caramel with a light, dry finish. Modestly tasty. Easy drinking.
