Svartvit (1871) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2018
Bottle shared with friends. Pours a clear yellow/golden, tiny white ring and a bit of bubble. Godlike apple-nectar. Such a complexity to the apple profile. Super juicy, honey is the perfect backup to this well-rounded apple. No words to describe this.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2018 Draft at meadery. Pours almost clear and still. There’s this lovely layered apple thing on the nose and tongue. Hides it’s booze well. Finished clean.

phaleslu (14680) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2018
Pour at Schramm's. Pours a clear white wine color in appearance, with minimal legs when swirled. Drinks like an ice cider, with intense, sweet, delicious apples, honey, and some minor florals. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, balanced, smooth, rounded mouthfeel. Excellent stuff. Didn't expect this to be one of my favorites of the visit, but it was.

Sampled at the source. Deep golden pour. Just a bit of musty hay on the nose. Honey-dipped apple. Just a hint of tartness, but drinks generally quite sweet. Loads of honey. Full-bodied, robust.

Nocturne (3313) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2017
Sample at Schramm’s, Ferndale. Pale golden shade. Apple and spice aroma. Very smooth. Sweet taste which lets the honey shine moreso than some of their others. Nice, quite a subtle one.

Sampled from the tap at the meadary. Pours a clear yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma combines apple and dry and sweet honey. Flavor has a bit of a sweet apple pie note with a touch of honey.
