COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Welcome back, old friend. We haven't brewed Dmitri since late 2016. Jet black, luscious body with hints of oak, vanilla, bourbon, dark stone fruit and plenty of roast. Subtle warmth from the ethanol, but it's not in your face and adds to the complexity of this rich, malty winter sipper.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 Bottle at Holiday Beerfest. Poured black, tan head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, roasted. Taste was sweet, creamy, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. Nice.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2021 Bottle/Fest. A- Roasty, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Chocolate, soy, roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Easily the best beer I've had from Scriptown and it's been some time. A traditional RIS but a well done one.
