1.5 L bottle, courtesy of Bov. Pours dark brown with a golden orange glare and a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and breadish. Sweet breadish roasted flavoured with a light caramelish touch. Lingering roasted malt flavoured into the finish. Dry lasting dark malt impression.

Embrouille (2867) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 9, 2008
Draught at Seeland Bräu. Roasted malt, melon and cork in the taste. Medium bodied. Low bitterness. Sweet malty. Beautiful lacework. Nicely balanced and easy drinkable. Pleasant finish.

(Shared w/ tbone_ & oh6gdx) Dark opaque brown, disappearing beige head. Nose is grainy seeds, some syrupy malts and slight coffee. Flavor has roasted malts, mildly sour, dry and grainy. Not much hops. Medium bodied, coarse carbonation. This one has probably gone bad.

TBone (24418) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 4, 2008
Hand bottled, plastic bottle 1 ltr
Dark hazy nut brown color, small off-white head. Slightly toasted, sourish aroma with underlying diacetyl. Sourish beer with caramellish notes, light toasted notes in the finish. Not really feel infected, but certainly not a beer to have 4.0 average (as it was here).

oh6gdx (26483) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 4, 2008
Bottled (from draught?) (Thanks Bov). Deep murky rubyish colour. Aroma is mild roasted and acidic coffee along with some sour wooden notes. Flavour is quite sour and acidic fruits and coffee along with some strange sweetness.

[2002-09-15, 8-5-8-4-15] Dark amber colour. Pleasant aroma of malt and roasted malt, very light aroma of coffee. Mostly characterized by the roasted malt, some more burnt malt and the related bitterness. Good final, as usual.
Very interesting and quite original, I would call it 'Cappuccino lager'.

[2002-01-16, 7-5-7-4-14] Dark amber lager. Malt aroma, light but nice. Delicate texture, malt taste, rather sweet for a lager. Good final, stronger than the usual dunkels.

Rutzicka (102) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 10, 2003
Beautiful dark brown and bright colour, few foam. Complex and dense aroma of malt, yeast, chocolate and hazelnut. The flavour does not quite live up to its aroma and is quite sweet and light. The finish is very long and sweety. An original and very pleasant beer.

domtom (65) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 9, 2003
Dark brown colour with few foam. Subtle and great aroma of herbs, cream and caramel. Deeply balanced with a long buttery finish. Excellent !

Bov (14983) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 19, 2003
very dark brown colour, few head, nice lace, malt and caramel aroma, notes of prune with a touch of alcohol, very sweet, slightly oily, long malty caramel finish
