UPDATED: SEP 16, 2019 Pours a clear golden amber with a white head. Very light syrupy body. Smooth with a little bitterness. Feels like a light lager. Ok but not great.

Growler from Whole Foods. Poured hazy orange with thin white ring of head, scattered lace. Light pine resin, melon, tropical fruit. Touch of spice. Soft and pretty easy on the palate up front, then a mild lingering bitterness.

Tap at Iron Abbey. Hazy darker yellow white head. Citrus aroma and malt. Citrus bite, hops prickle the tongue but malt adds some balance and heft. Flavorful and drinkable.

Draft at Bert’s at Millersville. Thick and hazy but not super filthy gold. Soft beer, not assertive hop beer. Soft peach and light grapefruit. Nothing fancy, nothing great.

FROTHINGSLOSH (11821) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2016
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet an tangy with piney and vague fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, sweet and had a bit of an off sour note with almost butterscotch, fruity hops and pine. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Tap at Bishop’s Collar in Philly. Goblet glass. Great white lacing and quarter finger head on a standard golden/straw/orange ale. Nose is citrus juice grapefruit and a pleasant pine quality. Taste has a really nice balance to it while not shying away from its IPA nature. Definite citrus notes playing along with a tropical fruit presence. Great finish leaving you with a little bitterness but a lasting enjoyment. Highly recommended. Makes me want to find others from this brewery.

16oz no-frills label only can shipped here to SW Florida by a beer goddess that happens to be my oldest daughter. Many thanks for that. As a longtime brewer, this beer meets all expectations. Balance and mouth feel/chewiness being one in the same is spot on. Nice nose. Not hint of higher than average abv. Well done. Wish I could buy it here or try it on draft here.
