UPDATED: OCT 20, 2021 Kolor prawie czarny z rubinowymi prześwitami. Piana beżowa, wysoka i trwała. Topnieje do dwucentymetrowej warstwy, zdobienia na przyzwoitym poziomie, bez krążkowania. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, czekoladowy, zbożowy z odrobiną kakao. Smak słodki uwydatnia aromat czekolady i kakao. Na finiszu zbożowa, palona goryczka. Delikatna, podkreśla smak. Wysycenie średnio niskie. Ciało średnie minus. Tekstura gładka, miękka. Posmak czekoladowy.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2021 Lattina. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, pane, cereali, frutta secca, erbaceo, agrumi, pompelmo rosa, arancia e mandarino.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2021 Draught at the Rook & Gaskill, York. Black with cream head. There was a surprising tangy note to this, quite sharp chocolate hints. The sweetness then comes through, vanilla, cookie dough. It's okay.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2021 44cl can. Pours dark plum, with limited beige foam, fine. Aroma is licorice, chocolate, coffee, a bit of vanilla. Body is somehow above average, with marked carbonation. Taste has fair sweetness and some roastiness. Final is fairly short.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2020 Can from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. Pours dark brown with a thick brown head. Aromas of chocolate, dough, light roast. Taste is sweet, dark chocolate. Sweet finish.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear dark black - red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, light dough - bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla, dark malt, milk chocolate, chocolate - cocoa, something dough - bread alike, maybe that's the Kellogg's Coco Pops. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20200121]

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Keg, third on a sample tray. Shared with Finn at Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse. A firm fawn-coloured head over a coal black body. Upper part lacing on the glassware. Dark doughy malts on the nose, hints of cocoa. Taste of cocoa and chocolate together with bread and a bite of biscuit. Roasted malt-driven end. Smooth on the swallow. Nice stout version.
