UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 .5 bottle. Clear dark copper, thick, stable, creamy, off-white head, some lacing. Aroma bready, slightly citrusy, biscuits, caramel, slightly grassy. Taste dry, full, smooth. Carbonation medium, slightly tingling. Bitterness medium, herbal. Aftertaste biscuits, fruity, citrusy, caramel. An absolute classic. Good stuff.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2021 Clear mahogany brown, decent white head. Aroma, nutty, metallic, raisins. Taste is hoppy, dried winter fruits, malt, hazelnut, quite sweet but with a lingering bitter note. Ok.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2021 500ml bottle from local Kaufland store drinking 24/09/2021 Pours a clear rum-like brownish amber with a thin slightly off-white short lasting head and moderate lacing. Aroma of malt and toasty bread, caramel, biscuit, toffee, smoky and some light earthy and grassy hops. Taste is clean with notes of malt and toast, caramel, toffee, light dark fruits, bready with a decent earthy hoppy moderate bitter finish. Also quite a bit sweet. Dry and crisp finish with a decent caramel and herbal hops aftertaste. Smooth and easy to drink but really watery. Thin body, very slightly oily texture and medium carbonation. Light 4.5% abv. Quite ok tasting but it feels a bit too thin at times, decent bitter not bad.

edward78 (838) - West Wickham, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2021 Bottle from Lidl. Pours a clear copper colour with a thin off-white head. Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, toasty bread and also slightly metallic. Taste has more caramel and toasty bread, a touch of peppery spice and that same metallic note on the finish. Thinnish body, fair carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Ok but Shepherd Neame do better beers.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2021 Głęboko bursztynowe, klarowne z obfitą beżową pianą. W aromacie karmel, biszkopty lekki szampon i gwoździe.
