COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yosemite Scooter is a lighter bodied American Pale Ale with a dirty blonde color and delightful aromas of bright zesty orange, mango, and rich sticky hops. Excellent hop flavors of citrus fruit and berries blast across the palate, along with a mild earthiness. Succeeded by a moderate bitterness, the beer has a lingering fruit, rind-like quality with traces of pine.

Bottle from Dr Swanson. Aroma is orange peel, caramel malt, tropical fruit, bread, weird. Appearance is golden amber, off white head, hazy. Taste is caramel malt, pine, bitter citrus rind, syrup, orange peel, eh. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, caramel pine citrus aftertaste. Overall, this one is very malty and bitter.

Nice slightly hazy golden and copper coloured body with a good two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of malt, nuts, earth, toffee, caramel and more malt - there simply isn’t any hops at all in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Mellow nutty and earthy malt flavours with walnuts, bitter toffee and caramel noticeable, again only with the very slightest amount of hops possible - not much at all. Aftertaste is metallic, herbal, earthy, nutty and malty - that’s it, but even that is relatively muted. Overall, a pretty boring beer with no hops at all - it isn’t bad nor offensive, just not good and definitely not worth spending a lot of money on or room in a suitcase! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 11-September-2015 for US$1,69 sampled at home in Washington on 10-June-2016 on the day Gordie Howe passed away - RIP Mr. Hockey.

Pale golden moody, fairly hazy, inch or more of foamy white cap. Resinous hops, lemon, grass. Bitter, dank hops, subtle earthy character. Lemon and tart grain. Decent.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, hints of earth, some piney notes into a bit of grain. Taste was a mix of grass, biscuit, some orange peel into a bit of pine, slight earthy notes, finishing slightly bitter.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a peach hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of straw and biscuit with a touch of pine backing. Flavor has a combination of musty grains, biscuit and earthy pine.

Shorts="Stroh’s" backwards. Think about it. And think about the fact that Stroh’s is the ONLY BEER KNOWN to ME that I would rather be SOBER than drink again.....go back and read again. So this Short’s while not Stroh’s is still not Blatz. So put that in the bank and not make a withdrawal on......unless it’s withdrawal symptoms. Yosemite Sam, and for that matter "Pecos Bill" from "Tom & Jerry" deserve better than this.

Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Mild aroma with hints of pine and caramel. Pours a very cloudy orange-amber with a thin, quickly fading white head. Sharp tropical fruit notes start the flavor off, with some toffee, caramel, pine, and earth coming through. Fades to a lingering mango/earthy finish. Light bodied, with a lot of hop complexity through the beer.

Hazy orange body. Steady off-white head. Description sort of overhypes it. Solid resinous hop tones, just not exploring any new territory. Thick enough that I’d call it an IPA. A little sweet, but respectable enough hop depth. OK. Garlic-onion-caramel.
