Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness, wood, sourness and ripe fruits. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, wood, sourness, some vanilla, ripe fruits, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, tart and bitter. A delicious complex brew.

Pours a lightly hazy golden color and capped by a thick off white layer of foam that settles quickly to a thin film and coats glass in lacing. The aroma shows notes of vinous white grape, crisp wheat, grains, hay, and funk to go with a pale malt base with some oaky tartness. The flavor follows suit with notes of vinous white grape, oak laden funk, crisp wheat, and Chardonnay oak with the old grains, pale malts, and firm tartness on the back end. Medium bodied with ample carbonation that leads to a slightly bitter sweet and tart Chardonnay grape, old oak, and crisp wheat on the finish. This is a really nice and easy drinking barrel aged saison with nice white grape notes. Really good stuff.

The nose was dried fruit, white wine, funk, and mild, wheat-like graininess. Light to medium bodied, the taste was a balanced presentation of similar notes, elevated by some lively spritz, light, lemony tartness, and subtle dryness to the finish.
