neongolden (3888) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - APR 28, 2019UPDATED: APR 28, 2019 (750ml Blend 2 bottle @ Nische's tasting, thanks Werckmeister!) Hazy bright gold pour with a solid white head. Aroma of mixed citrus, tart white grape, pit fruit esters, wet wood, hay, touch of wine and moderate funk. Flavour is moderately sweet and moderately tart. Smooth pit fruit esters, nectarines, touches of citrus, tart white wine, balanced oak, rounded and almost creamy. Lightly sulphurous funk. Long deep tart fruity aftertaste. Medium bodied and plush with soft carb. Really lovely elegant saison, complex and balance without the runaway acidity of some SP beers. Highly drinkable.

tapefuzz (2157) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 14, 2018750mL bottle. Blend #2. Pours a deep golden with a moderate white head that quickly settles into something small and lasting. Aroma is wine, oak, funk, light raisin, and some very slight cobweb-y must. Taste is tart; white wine, oak, some vanilla, some barnyard, and a touch of pepper in the finish. Dry. Vinous. Medium body. Lively carbonation with a very slight astringency to it. After a while it overwhelms and fatigues the palate.
