caribou43 (2456) - Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 16, 2018I have found this bottle at the Vivanda in Miraflores, the last week. I have tried this bottle yesterday for the birthday of my mother-in-law, Collique, Comas. It is a regular pale ale, copper/brown colour, average carbonation, white foam. The taste is relatively malty for the style, dry, some hop, mineral side, a bit watery, not bad and average.

tadahster (112) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 27, 2014Good malt and hops balance. Hint of sour, but decent Duvelish golden ale. Almost corn like sweetness from the malt, okay bitterness and some sensation of pepper. Some metallic sting, but a pleasant golden ale.

Pours golden with low white head. Aroma is of malt, sweetness. Taste is of weird water, malt. Palate: Ligth body. Overall: Lacking. Weird taste, not top notch. Sierra Andina can do better than this.

LBarouf (141) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 5, 2012330 ml bottle
Aroma: the malts give an aroma of bread, toast and notes of caramel, while the hops give it a nice floral and peachy one. I could also smell hints of banana and honey.
Appearance: a nice golden and hazy robe. Sparkling with a minimal white head.
Taste: heavier on the bitter side, you can easily taste the hops. Salty and possibly that Japanese umami. A bit sweet with notes of honey.
Palate: Medium body with a oily texture. Lively beer with a long finish that feels astringent.
Nice bitter craft beer with a taste of honey. Was a fresh and nice discovery in the land of the Incas. A pleasant and nice chance from the commercial local beers.
