Jabah (2479) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - APR 15, 2019UPDATED: APR 15, 2019 Grabbed for the first time in the 2014 Fall Pack. This is decent for a lager. Nothing special....but well-balance, clean, and drinkable. Sort of reminds me of a Samuel Adams Boston Lager...perhaps a bit lighter on malt. More of a dinner pairing beer or something I'd drink in the summer/early Fall.
pdog555 (1419) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 20, 2019UPDATED: MAR 20, 2019 Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt and bread punctuated by dry hops. Mouthfeel is light, pine and hopped malt are the most notable influences. Palate includes slight spice and a very unfamiliar hop taste. Really good vienna, probably the best one I've had.

AROMA: soft malt and grain, light bread/toast, easy beer/lager-like nose
APPEARANCE: light clear Amber, respectable head, solid looking Amber lager
TASTE: moderate grain, soft malt, some grass and vegetables, hint sour cherry and vanilla, euro characteristics
PALATE: good body, crisp, touch oil,
OVERALL: another solid and above average Sierra Nevada brew, drinkable and fresh but more body and flavor than any basic lager and many/most beers that call themselves a Vienna/amber lager. Definitely worth a try.
