Niko100 (3207) - New York City, New York, USA - JUL 3, 2018Cloudy amber/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, citrus hops, peaches, guava, & some pine/floral; Flavor of sweet malt, peaches, tropical fruit, pine hops, and citrus; Finish is fairly bitter; Nicely balanced; Very Good.
MartinT (10698) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 29, 2018My Bottom Line:
Guava and banana aromas are emboldened by marijuana allusions before green peppercorn-like bitterness seal this pleasant Double IPA.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A frothy head of foam covers the cloudy beige-hued golden.
-Mouthfeel is oily and juicy.
-Mild diacetyl is given by the yeast, bulking up the tropical juiciness somehow.
-That green peppercorn allusion in the finish is quite strong.
Can.
