Bouteille. Robe noire.

Bottle at home. My lords. Black with a red hint through the light. Dark brown head that soon cleared. Aroma of smoke and burnt metal, coffee beans. Hints of coffee, beef, dark caramel malts. Semi carbonated, lively at first but then settled. Georgous.

TimE (8459) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 5, 2015
Pitch black color. Thin dark brown head. I love the unique Buffalo Trace bourbon in the nose, i wish more breweries used these barrels. Intense molasses, rich velvety dark chocolate, licorice and charcoal notes. Slightly salty. Very low carbonation. In fact too low to the point of being next to flat. Really loses points on the mouth feel. Slightly sweet. Mouth is much more linear than the nose with lots of bourbon, dark chocolate and lactose notes. Finishes mildly sweet with bourbon and dark chocolate with lactose notes, but a bit lifeless. So much potential.

330ml bottle. pours very dark brown/black with thin, quite dark head. aroma is bitter coffee, musty old books, smoke and a little alcohol. quite smooth mouth feel with lots of coffee and a bit of oaky smoke. leaves a warming alcoholic feel.
