COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This 7th Anniversary Celebration takes inspiration from the seven deadly sins. Using some artistic license and 1000l of Apple Juice, 'Sins' is a beer/cider hybrid, a style sometimes referred to as a Graf. Even more unusually, we've taken this concept into a robust stout recipe!

Can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, short lived bubbly tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, a little dark chocolate dust. Tangy. A light and mildly tart apple vibe, I wouldn't say cider though. Light semi dry finish. Nah! Worth a try but I have never lost any sleep wondering what an apple stout would taste like because I imagined it would taste like a mess, as this does.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2020 440ml can – Pours a deep black colour with a small fine tine head. Aroma is roasted malts, bitter coffee and a little dried fruit. A mild roasted flavour, dark brown toast, some bitterness with a fruity tartness in a drying finish. A bit disappointing.

BeardedAvenger (5128) - New Haw, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2020
UPDATED: APR 13, 2020 Can bought at the brewery. Rich malty aroma - coffee and dark chocolate. Inky. Pours cola brown. Frothy beige head. Medium-heavy bitter. Coffe and charcoal. The apple adds a sour edge and a touch of underlying sweetness in the finish. But thebaookes are essentially lost in the mix. Medium bodied. Lightly oily. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough but two overhyped beers with Sins and Virtues.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2020 440ml can. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, subtle dark berries. Taste is roasty, coffee, bitter, there is a very slight fruity sour twang to it but I would never have guessed it's apple, you really can't taste apple at all. Medium body.
