SilkTork (7107) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2020UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Feb 2020. 330ml dark bottle part of a BeerHawk £1 a beer deal. Siren tend to do modern citric hoppy lager style beers, where the accent is on a clean neutral malt with the flavouring coming from modern hops. That's not my thing as I love the marriage of malt and yeast, and brewers who brew with adventure but also an eye on tradition and craftsmanship. Using closed fermentors and a throwaway yeast and chucking in packets of expensive hops is not my idea of craft at all. There's nothing at all interesting here, you've all had this beer hundreds of times under various names from various 'craft brewers'. It's a tropical fruit flavoured lager. Ho hum. Nothing new here, move along....
rumore (3109) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 17, 2019UPDATED: OCT 17, 2019 Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours light amber with moderate white foam, fine. Aroma is hoppy, malty. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter. Final is average.
ERB92 (1821) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 29, 2019UPDATED: SEP 29, 2019 Aroma of fruits, citrus and hints of spices, malt and yeast. Amber with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Quite sour. Medium body with soft carbonation. A our and spicy note dominates this brew, maybe off?
lkowalkowski (1394) - POLAND - SEP 5, 2019UPDATED: SEP 5, 2019 Barwy złotej, wpadającej w pomarańcz.
Piana obfita i trwała, zdobi szkło.
W aromacie owoce, tropiki, cytrusy, karmel, nuty kwiatowe.
W smaku dominują cytrusy, słodka nuta przeplatana z goryczką na średnim poziomie.
theprof (3271) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2019UPDATED: AUG 23, 2019 Aroma of grassy hop and light caramel malts with some citrus notes. Pours clear pale body with thin lace. Taste is medium sweet to bitter with the latter more pronounced. Palate is thin, watery feel soft to average carbonation and a bitter finish. The undercurrent for me was a growing sense of disappointment with the siren more a warning than a lure.
