Johnsense (2252) - - JAN 8, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2020 Yellow body, smaller fast fizzy head, malty/grainy aroma and taste. If you're looking for a thin, grainy lager you could probably do worse. Mind you, you could spend a few cents more per bottle/can and do hell of a lot better.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2019 A classic in itself, but nothing to rage about. Mostly for casual drinking.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2018

341 ml clear bottle with screwed crown cap bought at CitySuper in Harbour City. Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear golden yellow colour; One-quarter finger head with residual white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with quite fizzy carbonation; Pungent aroma of lager malt, with skunk, floral, syrup, soggy bread, light lemon and smelly grass; Close to medium sweet taste of very light malt, with notable tartness, floral, light corn syrup, soggy bread, lemon, light bitter hops and strawy grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is thin lager maltyness in a very runny background. Notable tartness with a slightly odd chemical edge, otherwise very bland. Flowery with light syrup sweetness, vaguely bready with light lemon to round. No!... Hoppiness is floral, light lemon and smelly grass in nose and taste; Bitterness is light for an abrupt, low astringent sweet-bitter light malty finish. Wet after taste. Watery light lemon and fairly easy to mouth.

Comments: This is a sub-par macro Pale, with a clear bottle you pretty much know what you gonna get - toilet and pretty skunky aroma, bland taste with watered down malt and syrupy sweetness (albeit light). It is better than the French's 33 Export, but that's tell you how low this one gets. I bought this at discount price and I still regret it.

P.S. This is my 2666th rating? I got robbed and I hate Sleeman!

Scipio (2133) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2018
Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. The aroma is light, but what I do find isn't very pleasant. Corn, grain, bread, and its kind of musty also. The taste is moderately sweet. It picks up overall from the nose, but that is a low bar to hurdle. There are some grassy elements here, with a lot of corn, biscuit, slightly metallic, and I guess kind of with an odd bit of stale flavor. Corn finish. Light to medium in body. This is not a good beer.

IBUTun9 () - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 15, 2018
I started off giving this 3.5 stars, bordering on 4, but just smoked some Marley and ate a slice of pepperoni pizza smothered in Scorpion hot sauce, so lukewarm water served up in a dirty ashtray would have gotten at least 2 stars. After my taste buds and sense of smell came back, hints of sweaty plumbers ass and old man feet came to the forefront. Palate, thus, leaves notes of vinegar. Still, I have to replace my wife's brake pads this afternoon and without this 15 pack I might just wander into traffic to avoid it, so I'll give it a legit 2.5 stars.
