Dogbrick (17956) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 5, 2020UPDATED: JUN 5, 2020 Black pour with brown around the edges and a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of charred malt, chocolate and coffee. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
Jabah (2479) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - JUL 18, 2018Well...it is what it is. One of those beers that is good, tasty, drinkable, but forgetable. I like the flavor, a little rusty of a mouthfeel, but the chocolate malt aftertaste is decent. Appearance is semi-thin....dark brown, but not quite coffee black. I haven't sampled a lot of Baltic Porters yet, but this seems to have that European-porter feel to it. Worth the try and the price was right, but think I'll be bored of this by the time I finish the 6-pack......................................UPDATE 3/15/13: Sampled a single after two years. Better than I remembered from the review. Upgraded a point on appearance and mouthfeel. Not "bored" at all from this beer. It is good stuff.
katrinaez (3893) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2016Pours dark black with some foam. Light aroma of malts. Light upfront with some sweetness of marshmallow but a bitter, boozy kick. Roasty. Tasty. Tap.
joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - AUG 12, 2016Bottle. It pours brown with a small khaki head. The aroma has sweet cola, light root beer and nuts. Sweet on the nose. The flavor has more sweet cola with a strong earthy finish. Weak body. This bottle seems off. It starts off very sweet up front and then finishes overly earthy and bitter. Pass.
VincentAnthony (44) - Massapequa, New York, USA - APR 6, 2016Pours a deep dark brown. Aroma is strong dark malts, dark fruits, dark chocolate. Taste is dark roasted malts, dark fruits, dark chocolate, burnt brown sugar, hint of smoke, hint of vanilla. Complex and better than I expected.
DocJitsu (2550) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2015Pours a very dark brown with ruby glints around the edges of the glass when held to light. Half finger tan head. Smothers relatively quickly. Mild smoke, lactose, vanilla, and a British porter quality in the aromas. Pretty lively for an impy porter. Very British. Lactose, vanilla, sweet, cream on fruit.
HonusWagner (2248) - Florida, USA - SEP 28, 2015Chocolatey roasty imperial porter. I wanna try one of these old ass 750 bottles because it’s pretty cool.
N3lson1 (1010) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - SEP 19, 2015Drank from a nonic glass poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Pours black with a little bit of beige head. Aromas of roasted malts and chocolate. Tastes robustly sweet with a toasted flavor. Not a great Imperial porter...

Taste is of mostly dark fruits, plums, roasted malts and sweet chocolate malts .... Simple and full bodied porter .... Finish has a lingering sweetness .... Smooth and rich brew with a very light lingering bitterness ... Has some oily qualities in the mouthfeel ... Simple and tasty
60minuteman (1764) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2015Appearance dark brown, good amount of lacing and lots of sediment. Characteristically smooth for a good porter. Notes of chocolate, coffee, malt, oak, hop and bits of citrus really makes this stand out.
