Pours copper with an off white head. Smells earthy. Tastes dry and spicy with some floral hints.

Tap - not much head, medium amber color, nice hoppy flavor with decent malt backbone

This was called Castle Pale Ale. It looks like thier APA has nmany different names. The alcohol was slightly higher at 5.5%. Served in pint glass the head was small and dissapoated. I liked the deep copper color. Good bitterness with some light citrus. The finish was smooth with some bitterness. This was downtown Cahrleston in three stories..

Clear and yellow with no head. Faint aroma of nothing worth mentioning. Pretty boring and bland all around. Watery. Not good.

Draft at brewer. By far the best beer here tonight. Pours a copper with a thin white head. Malty/hoppy floral scent and a blanced taste.

Amber with light aromas of wet paint. Palate confirms nose. Light hoppiness and long finish. Too long--wet paint beer is not good.

On tap at Southend Brewpub in Charleston S.C.
The aroma contains notes of floral hops and the flavor is extremely floral and fruity without. A little sweet but finishes with a moderate bitterness.

Lasting , minute-bubbled head provides a curtain of lace. Amber color and nearly clear. Good blend of light colored malts and floral hop. The taste is more hoppy than the smell. Bitter aftertaste. A solid pale ale whose only demerit is the thin body.

An.amber pour with a small head. Good mild hop aroma. Light but abundant lacing. Slight burnt walnut character. Pucker mouthfeel. That darned apllejuice bitter sweet backend. Shallow finish

This was the best of the lineup. There was ample head with excellent retention. A very fresh hop aroma. The hops come across with a bit of an orange smell. There is a lingering hop bite, but it’s only moderate at best. Still a standout in this lineup. It was a good pairing with the shrimp and grits on the menu.
