UPDATED: DEC 9, 2021 Draft at Kroger grocery store bar on Wilmington Island. Pours black with brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, whiskey, and vanilla. Similar flavors. Full body with minimal carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2021 Smell is very light and mostly of light roasted malt.... Taste is similar light roasted malt some lactose to balance and give some mouth feel and light sweetness, finishes pretty smooth...good boldness but lacking some complexity... Mostly just medium roasted mall at a medium but good boldness... Had while watching coverage of the capital insurrection last night....

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2019 12oz can at home. Pours jet black with a thin tan ring. Packs a lot of flavor...rich chocolate, dark malt, soy, leather, dark fruit, bourbon, oak. Low carb, full body. Lingering sweet bourbon, chocolate, fruity finish. Excellent, really nice job on this!

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2018 On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Pours black, with a big, foamy, brown head. The aroma is milk chocolate, vanilla, plums, cinnamon, and toasted oak. Very sweet, and a touch bitter. Very heavy body, with a creamy, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a big and boozy stout. Decadent and delicious.

12oz can single from ale yeah. creamy and smooth. imperial is well hidden. a little molasses sweetness. roastiness throughout.

Savannah, Ga - on tap at the Savannah Craft Brew Fest. Jet black pour, khaki colored head. Light aroma of chocolate with some earthy accents .Flavor has some sweet milk chocolate - not dark baker’s chocolate, some caramel and a bit of robust coffee. Mouthfeel has a nice essence of chalkiness. Overall, solid and not cloying at all for a 10% ABV Impy.

12 oz can at the 2017 AJF. This Is an IMPERIAL milk stout with 10% ABV and strong, rich flavor. A bit boozy with ample woody effects from barrel aging. Lightly sweet up front and mildly bitter by the finish. A slight sourness detracts.

1/27/17. On tap at Distillery in Savannah, I believe. Black pour with a small tan head. Okay aroma, charred ashy malts, chocolate, coffee. Good flavor, creamy and smooth, mix of chocolates, coffee, some caramel and cream. Tasty.

10 oz. draft at the brewpub. Opaque with a thin film of foam. Mild nose is coffee with cream. Tastes of Oreo cookie coffee with cream, dark chocolate and a touch of lightly tart berry. Medium-heavy body has smooth, low-medium carbonation and nice balance for a definitely dessert-slanted beer.
