COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2019 Beginning to think that I am not a fan of too much coffee in my beer. This is an example. Prefer my coffee stouts on the mild side, but if you are looking for a strong coffee brew then this is it. Meant for sipping, as this is one thick and heavy bad-boy IPS. Broke this up into 2 sessions, as drinking this solo all at once could be pushing it. Has potential to be better, but it is what it is. Either way has decent flavor, but thinkin there are better routes to go in this style. Still curious to try their Creme Brulee IPS though.

The aroma is outstanding... Chocolate, lactose, malt, sweetness.. The beer looks great, dark brown head.. a very dark thick pour. Taste is coffee, lactose, chocolate, malt, hops. It’s a touch boozy..and surprisingly, a touch hoppy for this type of beer. Nevertheless, it is great.

Draft Half Pint at White Horse, Parsons Green, London in Aug 2010 - Very Dark Brown in colour. Strong chocolate and coffee aroma. Very Malty; roasty malts, mega-chocolate, mega-coffee, vanilla. Sweet Malty with incredible exotic chocolate, coffee and vanilla flavours. Tastes of Belgian dark chocolate liqueurs. An excellent dessert stout. Lovely. WOW! Unique! Terrific Beer! (2010-08)

A dessert beer. Smells just like hot milk chocolate. Front taste is sweet, very sweet. Finishes with coffee and bitterness. Sticks to the palate. Recommend with biscuits. Drinkability is on the lower side, due more to the sweetness more than the 10.9 abv
